Signing the BIG name

Finally, we decided to be legally married on the 19th Jan 2012 - our anniversary date. It will be our 4th anniversary and on that day, we shall end our days of ticking against the box next to "Single" for marital status.

Anyway, the initial plan was to do it within ROM and then go for a simple family dinner with the close immediate family members. Unfortunately, for all possible reasons, we did not register exactly 3 mths before, (who know it will be such a popular date; it's a thursday somemore) , and there were no more slots for us to book??!?!?!

Left with no choice unless we postpone to a later (less meaningful) date, we are having it outside ROM. That means we have to look for a venue and a solemnizer.

Venue

After googling for solemnization package, we decide to do a solemnization lunch at Peony Jade Restaurant @ Keppel Club. They offer solemnization by the sea. We went down to check out the site. It's not too bad except that it may be abit hot and sunny and there is quite a bit of walk from the site to the restaurant.

Only a min 2 tables are required. Just nice and fit into our needs. We want to keep it low profile and hold the big party till later at the customary wedding. Guest list still pending.

Solemnizer

Thank god my best friend, Meryl, knows some good solemnizers and through her, we manage to get Mr Phang Tai Heng to solemnize for us. His reviews on forums are good and he seems to be a very popular solemnizer. We are really happy and lucky to have him.
