Wedding Package

Actually, the pre-wedding shoot package was the first thing we tied down.

We went down to the bridal fair at PS on 7th Oct 2011. Initially, I wanted to go around and check out the packages from different shops. However, it din happen as planned (oh well, there was no plan in the first place i guess lol) . We were sat down by the personnel of Thomson Wedding Collection and we were "closed", there and then.

As usual, they showed us the photo albums and tried to rapport with us (or should i say the lady was basically acting 熟 which kinda put me off). Anyway, she said something and that pissed me abit, so I actually wanted to go away alrdy. But the marketing manager, Alan, came and joined in our table.

I must say he was quite sincere and comfortable to talk to. He tried very hard to close the deal, throwing perks here and there. Seriously, it was the first booth we ever went to. We din know if it was reali a good deal or not.. I only had very rough idea of the pricing and the kinda things to expect from a package. Based on the very limited knowledge, I think the price was ok. Most importantly, I actually have a very.. hmm.. unique request which i shall not reveal now.. and he is able to fulfil that. So, we signed up.

Some "pull" Factors (on top of agreeing to my unique request)
  1. Album - 38 pictures hot pressed with designs and free choice of cover, finish, and lamination
  2. 1 Free Re-shoot if photos taken are not satisfactory
  3. No restriction for gowns selection. Can choose all in the shop.
  4. Alan's promise that he will try his best to get the gown I want, should I can't find one that I like from their range.
The rest are pretty much the same everywhere I think.

Alan also offered an actual photography for $500 (50% discount). Knowing the market price jumps from $1000 and after seeing some of the actual day photos which are not too bad, we took up that offer too.

Since the actual wedding date will be in 2013, I haven been to the shop to see their gowns. I am hoping it will not too bad. And so far, Alan's after-sale service is not too bad either.

oh well, that's all for now...
